BARDSTOWN -- The Nelson County School Board met Tuesday night.....Construction is going well at Thomas Nelson High School reports Michael Saltzman with BCD Contruction..Roads have been paved as well as some of the parking lots..There are no problems or issues at this time according to Saltzman................The School Board approved a longer lasting geothermal piping for Thomas Nelson at a cost of $ 35,500...............The board agreed to enter into a contract with Eugene Wilson &Ohio Casualty as ongoing insurance providers for the school district..........At the conclusion of the meetingSuperintendent Janice Lantz was given a round of applause for her years of service & accomplishments with The Nelson County School System..She will be leaving at the end of June.
